Real Happiness is found within

"Remember that unhappiness does not come from what is going on in your life. But, it comes from the way you think about it. "

Belle Aronson

If I ask everyone what do they want most in their life? I believe most of them will answer they want to live happily. It seems very easy, but it is not easy, as it is said.

Because we always base our happiness on external factors like frame, money, career success, happiness in love and relationship, etc.

We tend to forget that external factors are uncontrollable and expect things to happen as we expect.

Unfortunately, most of the time, things didn't go as we expected. And we are disappointed; we keep pondering why history keeps repeating itself repeatedly! That we question ourselves when we finally live happily.

What if we change our perspective on life to be happy is not determined by what's happening around us but by what's happening inside us?

It doesn't matter what happens to us, but what we think about it matters.

Because nothing lasts forever, happiness and sadness don't last forever either.

The Power of Self-Love and Self-Worth

"If you love yourself and know your worth, you will get through any difficulty in your life. "

-Belle Aronson

Life is not easy; it is full of ups and downs that you must face throughout your journey. Sometimes you have a very good day, and sometimes you have a very bad day. As Buddha said, nothing lasts forever-suffering and happiness don't last forever. But you tend to forget this fact.

You feel happy when things go as expected, but you feel unhappy when things don't go as expected. And looks like you have never learned that you can't control other people's speeches, thoughts, and actions. And you can't control outside situations, what will happen.

Human thoughts and actions are unpredictable. So many times, we are hurt by people's actions or speeches. And it has happened to me many times that I have learned the hard way.

When people let me down, underestimate me, or say something hurtful to me like I am not good enough. I must admit that it hurts, but I don't let that feeling define me. I tell myself I am more than my feeling. I know my worth, and I don't need their validation.

I know I am not perfect, and I have made mistakes often because I am still learning. I may fail many times, but after I fail, I am the one who picks myself up. I must be the first one who encourages myself. Who else will if I don't love myself and don't know my worth?

I have learned that the power of self-love is vital. If you love yourself enough, you will not let yourself down or wallow in sadness for a long time. Because you know that you deserve better.

A Girl And The Search For Happiness And Meaning

"I struggle to find meaning and happiness, but I fail to find my mind.

When my mind wanders, I can't find happiness and meaning.

And when I find my mind, happiness and meaning return."

-Belle Aronson

When she was young, she believed she must keep chasing her dream.
She thought her life would be
happy and meaningful when she finally lived her dream.

She then finally lived the life of her dream. A great family, a successful job, and a desired social status that she always wanted it.

She thought she would feel happy and fulfilled when she lived her dream life. However, she still pondered about her life. She wondered if something in her life was missing.

One day she decided to discover this mystery.
She wanted to know
the secret to living a happy and meaningful life.
It took her years to figure it out.

She had learned that she struggled to find
happiness and meaning.
But she failed to find her mind.
Her happiness and meaning couldn't be found when she let her mind wander.
And when she could find her mind, happiness and meaning returned.

Now she has learned to live in the present. She knows she can be
happy when her mind and body are together. She has finally realized that happiness and meaning are from the inside.

Cry To Me. I am here.

"He broke your heart; cry it out, girl. Cry to me as hard as you want to. Let the tears carry your sadness away. And I know you'll be fine tomorrow."

-Belle Aronson

Life is hard as we know.

Sometimes things didn't go as you expected.

And I know today you have a bad day.

I just wanted to let you know that I am here.

Any time you want to talk or cry on my shoulder, I am here.

I know you are hurting when someone you love has left you.

Don't hurt yourself; don't let the pain ruin your life.

You are more than your pain; you deserve better!

Don't you feel like
crying?

Cry to me;I am here.

Cry as hard as you want to.

And don't forget, you can always start again on a new day.

How to get over someone, or some thing

"In life, there are some things we might never really get over.
Sometimes the best we can do is just get through. But that's okay. There's still a lot of beauty to find on the other side."
-Unknown

Someone said," Forgive but Never Forget."I agree with him; I still remember the painful experiences that I had undergone.

I had been through several breakups that I didn't think I could bear. I felt like history kept repeating itself; I would blame my boyfriend and hold grudges. I hated him that he hurt me.

I was hurt because I thought I had given him my all, but he treated me like an option, a backup plan. I kept expecting that he would change someday, but it never happened.

I pondered why I had to go through the same situation repeatedly; maybe something was wrong with me. I then finally figured it out.

I realized that I couldn't change others, and I couldn't control them either, but what I could do was how I chose to react to what happened.

I had to admit that I could not forget my painful experiences, but I let them go and moved on. I couldn't get over it, but I got through.

I am Thankful For The Storm in My Life

"When you come out of the storm, you won't be the same person who walked in. That's what this storm is all about"
-Haruki Murakami

Hello, everyone. First, I would like to say sorry that I haven't written a post for a while. I am back and will do my best to post as often as possible.

Whenever I feel down or discouraged, I will look for inspiring words to motivate myself, and I have found this one that inspires me. In retrospect, I am thankful for the storm in my life.

When I went through the most challenging test in my life, relationship and financial failures simultaneously. I felt like my life was falling apart; I could not see any solutions. I had let myself wallow in sadness for months. I cried myself to sleep every night.

I lived in Bangkok, Thailand. One day, when I was driving to work. There was a lot of traffic, and I got stuck; I observed a crowded, non-air-condition public bus stop next to my car; several people stood because all the seats were occupied. I was thinking how terrible there is that people have to stand, crowding each other on the non-air-condition bus.

Then after traffic started moving, I drove and stopped at the intersection due to red light; a little girl who looked like she was 9 or 10 years old knocked on my car window. She asked if I wanted to buy fresh flower garland. I felt so bad for her that she was very young but was put to do that job.

On that day, there came a time when I had an epiphany. I thought how fortunate I was; I had a car, a good job, and a roof over my head while many people lived in ghettos; some even lived under a bridge. Some had to beg for money and food to survive day by day.

I realized that I was not the only one in the world who had been through a tough time. When my perspective changed, I could see a new way to look at my problems. When I changed the way to looked at things, the things I looked at changed.

I fixed my financial problems by negotiating with my bank; I had credit card debt, and I paid them the amount I could afford. I could do that because I accepted a new job that paid me better than the previous one. It was a challenging job, but I took it anyway.

I could finally fix my financial problem, but my relationship with my boyfriend ended; he kept cheating on me repeatedly, and I could not let it happen to me anymore. I decided to move on. It hurt, but I knew I would finally get over him.

When I look back on my life, I do appreciate all difficulties that I have been through. You have never known how strong you are until being strong is your only choice. And when you come out of the storm, you are not the same person who walked in because you are much stronger. And storm does not break you, but it makes you. I am thankful for the storm in my life.

The More You Fail The More You Grow

"We need to accept that we won't always make the right decisions and that we will screw up royally sometimes.=Understanding that failure is not the opposite of success; it's a part of success,'

-Arianna Huffington

It is impossible to live without making any mistakes in our life. As it said, the one who has never made a mistake is the one who has never done anything. Living that way is like you are not living at all.

We learn from mistakes, and the more we make mistakes, the more we grow. However, it is easier said than done; when we face failure, it is hard to embrace it, but most of us tend to let the failure ruin our life instead of using it as an opportunity to grow.

Many things in life require us to fail before we can succeed. The babies need to learn to fall before they can learn how to walk. And if a baby gave up after the first walk, she would never learn how to walk. Instead, she falls but gets back up repeatedly until she can walk.

The baby's parents know that someday their baby will finally walk independently after she learns to fall. It would be great to adopt this idea when we have to go through tough times in life. And see ourselves as the parents who see their baby that no matter how many times the baby falls, she will manage to get up and finally walk!
